Donna McCants was born and raised in Chicago Illinois.
Donna received a scholarship and graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance. Donna joined Wendy’s International and had the opportunity to open Wendy’s first “state of the art” store located on Michigan Ave (Chicago) inside of the SAK building. Donna advanced quickly moving up the ranks while working for Wendy’s to become a general manager, Donna later married and moved to the state of Maryland with her husband and has two beautiful girls.  Donna has also worked for the Pepsi Corp. and Tricon for five years.

In October 1999, she became a food service manager for Sodexo at Howard University. Her responsibilities include managing the student resident dining operation and Faculty Restaurant. My job has grown a great deal since 1999 and I enjoy working for the students at Howard University seeing them come back to visit and tell me about the successes they have made of their lives. My goal is for Howard to become the premier dining program for Sodexo.
